I heard on BBC world today that Gandhi’s glasses, pocket-watch, and a few other small possessions went for 1.8 million in an auction. It’s ironic that someone who didn’t cherish material items had his few possessions bided so highly on, but I suppose having Gandhi’s glasses would be pretty cool.
