My good friend Liz Yepsen and I sat down one week and sketched out a little story about a young artist and his talented dog. We both have always wanted to write a children’s book and this little story was our first try. Between a english major (and a talented artist might I say) and a studio art major (and a bad doctor I might add) I think we should be able to come through with something. I’ve been influenced heavily by my new favorite artist/illustrator/children’s book author Oliver Jeffers and I wish I could produce just something half as beautiful and half as wonderfully creative as his works.
