For some reason this sign has been an iconic landmark on my drive from Des Moines to Iowa City. Perhaps it’s a bit saddening that this commercial sign is what I remember most about the drive, but it stands in such stark contrast to the sleepy iowa landscape that it’s hard not to notice.
